I structure all lessons to an angler’s experience and requirements.
I took up trout fishing in 1982, and served my apprenticeship at Derwent Reservoir, Wylam Trout Farm and Whittle Dene. Living on the banks of the Tyne, I am also a passionate salmon and sea trout angler.
I am a licensed Angling Trust Level 2 (Advanced) fishing coach.
I provide fly casting and fishing instruction to all level of anglers and specialise in teaching beginners from scratch.
Most of my lessons are on stillwaters fishing for rainbow and brown trout in the north of England. Lessons are typically of half or full day duration with shorter sessions also available from time to time.
