Welcome to Stuart Ingledew Fly Fishing. I am a fly fishing instructor who loves working with anglers of all abilities to help them with their fly casting and fishing techniques.
I work primarily in Northumberland, Durham and Cumbria.
Whether you are a complete beginner looking to learn the basics of fly fishing, or a seasoned angler wishing to fine tune your casting or a specific technique, you have come to the right place!

I structure all lessons to an angler’s experience and requirements.
I took up trout fishing in 1982, and was never far away from Derwent Reservoir, Wylam Trout Farm and Whittle Dene. Living on the banks of the Tyne, I became a passionate salmon and sea trout angler.
I am now a fully qualified Angling Trust Level 2 Certified Advanced Coach.
I provide fly casting and fishing instruction to all level of anglers and specialise in teaching absolute beginners from scratch.
The majority of lessons are given on stillwaters for rainbow and brown trout in the north of England. Lessons are typically of half or full day duration with shorter sessions also available from time to time.
